Competition Entry Rules 

Competition Entry Rules are custom disqualification rules for every data capture entry on a particular card. Entry Rules are run in order, and the first rule that matches will be applied. If no rules match, the entry will be accepted. This feature works to disqualify spam or unwanted entries and ensure all other entries remain qualified to enter your competitions. 

Data Exports

Data Exports keeps all of your data export requests in one place. This means you can keep track of who is exporting what outside of the platform and provides a handy place to go back and download previously requested exports. 

Map Quiz and LT responses to Contact Property

You can now save a user's response to a Quiz, Poll, or Live Trivia question to a Custom Contact Property. You can add rich market research questions to your interactive content, store those answers on your contact profiles, and use them to drive personalized and relevant messaging and rewards. 

QR Code Tool (UTM Params)

We have added UTM parameters to our QR code generator, meaning better attribution and tracking of how your customers find their way to your content, hubs, and campaigns. 

Picker Improvements

We have made two significant improvements to the Picker card. Firstly, we have added a Randomize button, which lets a user fill the picker slots with a random selection of relevant items. 

Secondly, we have significantly improved the Item Select UI, making it far more compact and aesthetically pleasing for the end user. 

Secret Codes Improvements

We have made several improvements to the Secret Codes form field element. We have deprecated the Data Lists integration in favor of a far simpler “Add Codes” UI, which is much faster and easier for you. Secondly, we have added a new feature called Code Limits, which allows you to limit the use of a secret code to one code per user. 

Random Prize Draw Group By Email

We have extended our “Pick Randomly” feature in Prize Awarding to support grouping entries by email, which “flattens” the list of entries you will pick randomly from. This is helpful if you have a situation where you may have one customer who has one entry and one with two entries, but you want their probability of being chosen randomly to be the same. 

Number Guess Improvements

In the Number Guess card, you can now add an Answer Suffix and also set an Increment By value for the slider. 

Forms

You can now add HTML blocks to your forms. 

We also now have an email typo helper, which helps to ensure as few email typos as possible. 

We have also improved the UX of the Country and Mobile form fields; when there are less than 20 countries to select from (you restrict the list), we now show the flag icon for each country. For performance reasons, we do not load all flags for all countries.

Live Data Feeds Improvements

We have made two improvements to the Live Data Feeds product. Firstly, you can now use a Video as your background. 

Secondly, you can now customize how names are displayed in the feeds, meaning you can remove surnames if that is a privacy issue at large events, etc. 

You can now choose to show only pinned Q&A questions rather than rotating through all Q&A questions in the Live Data Feeds. 

Security

Company owners can now restrict invites to the company based on email domain.

Vote Card improvements 

You can now customize the text on the Vote button.

Starting today, our customers can connect their Google Account to the Komo ecosystem, allowing them to use their Google Account as authentication to gain access to the Portal.

changed When you export entries from a particular Card, the file won't download immediately, but instead, email you with a link once the download is ready. This change will allow our customers to download a large number of entries.

added When uploading an image to a Card using our Unsplash Integration, you can now use the shuffle icon to upload a random image. 

improvement We have sanitised email inputs to prevent common workarounds for the 'single entry per email' rule. Sanitising involves removing any unsafe characters from user inputs and validating to check to see if the data is in the expected format and type. As an example, this sanitisation will stop users from entering with myemail@gmail.com, and then again with my.e.mail+123@gmail.com.

fixed We have actioned further fixes for the Coupon swipe-to-redeem function, specifically for Mac Trackpads. 

fixed An issue that caused the Apple Music Embed Card to scroll incorrectly has been fixed.

improvement The performance of revealing answers has been enhanced to improve the overall UX of the Live Predictor Card.
